( the exhaustion he sees on ronan's face isn't surprising, but it doesn't mean adam likes it any either. still, he--doesn't comment on it at all. instead pulls his belt loose, and shimmies his pants down and off of his hips along with his boxers. leaves them in a neat pile off to the side along with socks so he can throw them into the dirty clothes hamper later.
that's a problem for later adam to deal with. current adam is busy walking over to the tub and sliding in on the opposite end of ronan, stretching his legs out so they extend to either side of ronan's waist under the water. )
[ he slides his hands around adam's calves as he stretches his legs out, palms and fingers kneading gently, thumbs working at any tension he finds. ]
Yeah, [ he murmurs, and a thumb circles one bony ankle, stroking the long bones of adam's foot. .. he has nice feet, as feet go, well-shaped like the rest of him, elegant. sometimes he hates himself a little for how stupid and syrupy-slow his thoughts get like this, curled with adam thinking about his feet of all things. ] We can do like.. a movie or something.. eat dinner on the couch.
[ like they would at home, like they had before adam headed to harvard. sometimes with opal if the movie caught her attention enough. ]
( he's always tense. adam parrish doesn't know how to relax although he had been--getting better at it. just a little. learning to lower his guard, to smile a little more openly around ronan himself. learning to live a little, instead of constantly pushing himself forward.
there's a low groan when ronan digs his thumb into a knotted muscle at the back of his calf, head tipping back to rest the back of his neck against the rim of the tub. he'd call ronan out on being a stupid gross romantic but adam--likes it. so he really can't complain. )?
I can make pasta. Bought some noodles and sauce at the store. ( an easy meal that'd take maybe ten minutes out of their cuddle on the couch plan. )
